Couple of days ago, I discovered by accident, that there is a town near Edmonton, called Krakow. Now Krakow is one of the oldest cities in Poland, so normally I decided to visit this town here in Alberta. I left early, around 6:00 am, to be there around sunrise. It was cold this morning, around -25C. Dressed for the weather, got into my warm truck, and took off in search of Krakow, Alberta. Along the way the frozen country side did provide with a few photo opportunities.

When I finally arrived in Krakow, Alberta, I was a little disappointed. It turns out, that it consists of 3 little farms, and an old grain elevator, but no where does it signify that it is Krakow. According to the map it does, but that’s about it. The sun was rising at this time, so I decided to drive around a little to see what the area was going to offer. Here are some shots. Enjoy!

Very nice tones and mood in all the pictures, it makes the scenery a little bit warmer than it was (minus 26C ) in my opinion. My favorite is the bottom one. Good job!
Again, great stuff. You know I am no ‘techie’ when it comes to photos, but what I really like is the image they portray (which I guess is what Photos are all about). Where you live is so totally different from where I live, and that is what I really like to see.
Nice capture! I like this calm 🙂
