One of my favorite activities in winter is taking a ride outside the city. Getting lost on country roads, hoping for the right conditions for some nice pictures and finding little treasures is always fun! Even if we aren’t lucky finding those things, there is so much beauty to find out there. They say prairies are boring, but that is not the case. And to prove my statement I’m going to share one day of prairie pictures from our last years outing. Hope you enjoy..

Beautiful…and cold looking. Maybe I’m just a west coast wimp now, but I do miss the wide expanse of the prairies.
