This photo shoot lasted a few months now, and will culminate this saturday, August 30, when I will be photographing their wedding. Yup my first wedding. I decided it would be a good idea to start early, since I never really did anything like that. I mean a wedding is nothing to sneeze at, specially for me. A total beginner. I decided it would be good for me to try a few shots of Jenn and Dustin at different locations. Just to get used the whole idea. Well what can I say, they liked the photos…. or at least they say they like them :)Here are what I think are the best of the best.

Maciek, very impressive! interesting! well processed ! how many hundreds of weddings did you do? is there any special meaning of the second last picture?
Thanks for that Artur. The meaning behind the second last photo, was …. fun? Trying something different, just because. Both liked it actually.
O.K. you will have to explain how you did it.I like the vignetting and softens you incorporated in some of the pics.
The multiplcation photo was fairly simple. 6 frames all together with Jenn moving into different positions for each photo. Dustin has to stay very still. After that you open all the photos in photoshop, basing one of them as the main image, then copy all the others as layers. Then what I did was maybe crude, but I found it easiest. Select Jenn from the layer and also be careful to select her shadow on the grass, then using eraser erase everything else from the picture. Keep going until all the layers are done. The selection doesn’t have to be very accurate, since the camera was on a tripod with a wire-shutter attached, so only Jenn is changing and everything else stays the same. A bit time consuming, but over all I think it came out fairly well. Also i did them with unprocessed files, just to preserve the same environment. Hope that helps.
Thanks for the explanation.
Good stuff!!! I think the wedding pics will work just fine, good luck with them!!!
That’s a pretty good start ! Very good job ;D
Thanks jotabe! Now I have over 1300 wedding photos to go through, pick the best, edit etc. etc. I think I might be done next year. 🙂
The sunset shot is soooooooo dreamy! Great set!
Thanks Carol.
