I know, we are still in the grips of winter here in Alberta.  I was going through my images taken last year, that were not posted yet (yeah there are a few of them) and decided on this set from a harvest sunset.  Let me paint the scene for you.  Rural road, silence, apart from occasional bird call, and buzzing of insects.  A gentle breeze blowing through ripened fields, and gorgeous colors of the sky, changing like kaleidoscope from one minute to another.  How can you say that the prairies are boring, when you are shown sights like these.  

The end of our trip to the west coast of Canada, was rich in places to see and pictures to take.  Even crossing from Vancouver Island to the main land proved to be great for pictures.  Lots of interesting characters on the ferry.  Once we got to the main land, we decided to take a different route from Vancouver, longer but more scenic. It proved to be fairly longer than expected, because we were stopping every so often to soak up the beautiful landscape.  Now I can’t wait for another road trip.
